Golden Zero-All Stars

The Golden Zero All Stars is a variation that promotes chance more.

Players enjoying the psychological jousting will be filled with this version limiting the control of their hand.

1. Composition of a Golden Zero Game All Stars

1.1. Cards

A Golden Zero game is composed of fifty-five cards divided into five sets of eleven cards numbered from 0 to 10 in a single sign: the star.

1.2. The layout

The layout consists of an open card area in front of each player place, a location for the target’s area in the center and an area for the add cards, perpendicular to the location of the target’s area.

The layout is slated for 10 seated players.

2. Goal of the game

To win, players must reach the target without exceeding it by adding their open card (s), one or more add cards and at least one of their private cards.

3.Running a round

The game starts in the presence of two minimum players. These, seated at the table, attend the counting and checking the cards. No standing player can participate in the game. The game continues as long as two players are still playing.

3.1. The indicators

3.1.1. The bets

The Golden Zero has three minimum bet values.

-The Access is the starting bet priming the pot;

-The Rise is equal to double the access;

-The Queen is equal to double the rise.

3.1.2. The button

Before starting the game, the dealer must determine the place of the button.

The dealer seizes the cards, distributes one to each player face open starting with his left. The strongest card (10, 9, 8, etc.) determines the location of the button. In the event of a tie, a card is distributed to each of the hands tied. Once the player has the designated button, the dealer picks up the cards, seals them to the rest of the package and brews the cards. The game can begin.

3.2. The Access or “put”

Before each game, all players are required to deposit a mandatory initial bet called “access” or “put”.

These collected stakes are placed in the center of the table and constitute the pot.

3.3. Distribution of the cards

After checking that all the initial bets are in accordance, the dealer deals the so-called “closed” cards (privative cards), one by one, face-down, starting with the player seated to the left of the button and going in a clockwise direction. Each player receives two closed cards that he is required to protect and a face-up card called “open”. This open card is called “Waiting value”.

3.4. The Target

Then the dealer erases (burn in poker) the first card of the deck and draws as many cards as necessary to reach 15 points and places them in the center of the table. As soon as the sum of the cards reaches or exceeds 15, the dealer stops drawing cards. These cards determine the “target”.

The dealer draws one card after the other: 3 + 2 (= 5) + 8 (= 13), at this point he still has to draw cards to reach or exceed 15; + 5 (= 18). The dealer stops, the target is 18.

3.5. The Rise

At the end of the deal, the players look at their privative cards. Then the dealer proceeds to the first betting round called “rise”. The player placed immediately to the left of the button, called “opener”, is obliged to wager at least the minimum bet equal to double the access.

Then the player to the left of the opener:

-he can pass: the player lays his cards in front of him, face-down. The dealer picks up the cards, counts them, and then erases them;

-he can call: the player matches the previous bet;

-he can raise: the player puts a higher bet than the previous player. The raise is at least equal to the previous value added.

***At Golden Zero, it is not possible to check***

The following players, up to the button, are plays in the same way.

At each raise the dealer proceeds to a new betting round within the limit of three raises.

The opening is not a raise.

Note:

A player can make a raise, even if all active players have bet an equal amount, within the limit of three raises. It’s called “reload betting”

When the first round of betting is over, the dealer picks up all bets from all players starting with the first player on the left and then in a clockwise. The stakes collected are added to the pot in the center of the table.

3.6. Additional cards (Add)

At the end of this first round of betting, the dealer erases the first card from the deck before drawing two common cards if the target is less than or equal to 19, three cards beyond. These cards are placed perpendicular to the target and are the help provided to the players to reach the target by adding one or more help cards to the waiting value completed by one or both cards of the player.

The use of add cards is not mandatory.

Attention:

Players should remember to add one or both of their own cards to the waiting value.

The left player has a 5 open. With its 1 closed, it can reach 6, reach 12 with its 7 closed or 13 by adding the two closed cards. To reach the target (18) It needs either 12 or 6 or 5.
The player on the right has a 9 open. With its 3 closed, it can reach 12, reach 13 with its 4 closed or 16 by adding the two closed cards. To reach the target, it needs either 6 or 5 or 3.

The dealer pulls the common add cards. It draws two when the target is 19 or less, and 3 cards beyond.

The dealer pulls two help cards.
The player on the left can reach 18 by adding his open card (5), the add card (6) and his card closed (7). It reaches the target with a guard at 1 (second card closed).
The player on the right can also reach 18 by adding his open card (9), the add card (6) and his card closed (3). It reaches the target with a guard at 4 (second card closed).

3.7. The Queen

The dealer then proceeds to a second betting round , called “Queen”, for the players still in play. The first player immediately to the left of the button:

-he can open: it lays a bet at least equal to twice the minimum bet of the rise;

-he can fold: the player lays his cards in front of him, face-down. The dealer picks up the cards, counts them, then erases them.

The following player:

-he can open: it lays a bet at least equal to double the minimum bet of the rise, but only if the previous player has folded;

-he can call: the player matches the previous bet;

-he can raise: the player puts a higher bet than the previous player. The raise is at least equal to the previous value added.

-It can fold: the player lays his cards in front of him, face-down. The dealer picks up the cards, counts them and erases them.

All the other players still in play are determined in the same way.

The betting round ends when:

-all players have passed;

-The three raises are reached.

During a betting round, a player may bet the remainder of their stake and declare himself all in. If all the other players fold, the player all in wins the entire pot.

In the event that the total amount of the bet committed by the player is less than the stakes of the other players, the dealer proceeds to create two separate pots.

In any case, if the best hand is that of another player than the one all in, the dealer will give him all the pots.

3.8. The Result

The dealer asks the last player who have opened or raised on the last round of betting to showdown one of his two cards or both, then to all the other players in the direction of a clockwise. In the event that no player opened during the last betting round, the player to showdown his cards is the last one who opened or raised during the previous betting round.

In any case, the best hand is determined by the sum of the open cards and one or the two added closed cards.

The winner is theone who reaches or approaches closest to the target.

3.9. The Guard

In the event of a tie, the winner is the player who still has a card in hand after the showdown. This card is called “guard.”

If two or more players have a guard, it is the equal value or the closest to zero that wins.

In the event of a perfect tie, the pot will be divided between all the players tied. There is perfect equality when players have the same value ‘go to target’ (equal to or approaching the target) and the same guard value.

4. The end of the game

To stop the game, the last hand will have to be announced beforehand.
